On December 20th, at a dinner with friends and "space" colleagues, including the managing director of Egeos Massimo Comparini (owner of the house) and the President of ASI Roberto Battiston, the director of the master met Samantha Cristoforetti to whom he addressed the invitation to participate in the research and training activities of Sapienza and in particular the master in Satellite Systems.
On December 6th, at the Sala del Chiostro of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering, the Director of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of Sapienza (DIMA), Prof. Paolo Gaudenzi, presented the DIMA Master Courses for the academic year 2017-2018. The Masters' Directors took part in the event, they were confronted with interlocutors coming from companies and organizations involved in the various DIMA research sectors.
Some of the master's students will be selected to participate in the ASTRI program, developed by Sapienza with the major European companies: AIRBUS, THALES ALENIA SPACE, RUAG, TELESPAZIO, ARIANE GROUP, AVIO, OHB.
On December 5th Prof. Gaudenzi received a certificate of his recent input among the academics of the International Academy for Astronautics by the Director General of the Academic Jean-Michel Contant.
Wednesday 6 December at 6 pm at the Sala del Chiostro of Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering will take place the presentation of the new plan of development of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, the Master course in Satellite Systems and Services scheduled for the academic year 2017-2018 and other Masters of DIMA.
